Strathaven Miniature Railway - Scotlands Oldest Miniature railway.

Hop aboard the "wee train" - Strathaven Miniature Railway. Operated by Strathaven Model Society Ltd, it's the oldest continuously running miniature railway in Scotland - 75 years old!

The first steam locomotive (Margaret) is still in operation after many years and the Model Society continue to use various forms of locomotive power (Steam, Petrol & Electric) with steam being the favorite among all ages.

Popular with young and old alike, the Miniature Railway is great fun for all ages and well worth a visit!

• Trains run from late March/early April till the last weekend of September at weekends and public holidays (weather permitting)
• Running times from 11:00 am to 4.30pm.
• Fares for adults and children – £1.00 per passenger
